Privacy policy
Hanter Ingenjörsteknik AB takes the privacy of our customers and suppliers extremely seriously. We want to ensure that your personal data is always processed correctly, kept up to date and protected.
In order to deliver our products and perform our services correctly, we need to process certain types of personal data. By processing we mean all collection, storage, handling, modification and use of personal data. This privacy policy describes how we process your personal data and what rights you have.
Data controller
Hanter Ingenjörsteknik is the data controller and is therefore responsible for the processing of your personal data. The personal data collected will only be used by us, unless otherwise stated at the time of registration or in the information you receive after being in contact with us.
The security of your personal data
We continuously update our security technology to prevent unauthorised access to our systems. We work to inform our staff about the importance of confidentiality and how to maintain the privacy and security of personal data.
How we collect and use personal data
In order to deliver our products and perform our services, we process personal data in the following situations and for the following purposes. We do not retain any data for longer than we need to.
To fulfil our agreement
In order to fulfil our contract or agreement to receive orders, deliver goods and issue invoices to you, we process your personal data in the form of name, telephone number and email address. If you are a customer or supplier operating as a sole trader, we also process your personal identity number and address details.
To be able to contact you
In order to contact you, we process your contact details in the form of name, telephone number and email address.
We store this information until we are informed that you are no longer employed by our customer or supplier.
To handle applications
In order to process applications for employment and similar, we need to process personal data in the form of name, address, telephone number, email address and personal identity number for the duration of the process.
When and how we share personal data with others
In order to carry out our commitments, data may be transferred to third parties acting as our data processors. These parties provide IT support, email and cloud storage services and transport services for ordered products, among other things. We do not disclose or sell any personal data to other third parties for any purpose.
We always exercise the greatest care when transferring your personal data, and your personal data is never passed on without support in this privacy policy and without appropriate security measures being taken. Your personal data may be disclosed in order for us to meet certain legal obligations, and may be provided to the relevant authorities where this is permitted and required by law.
Individual rights
The General Data Protection Regulation gives you a number of rights in relation to us as the processor of your personal data. To invoke these rights, contact us using any of our contact details. We always aim to hold accurate data, and therefore correct, complete, erase or anonymise personal data whenever necessary. If you believe that any information is incorrect or misleading, you should contact us immediately. If you consider that we have processed your personal data incorrectly in any way, you may submit a complaint to the supervisory authority, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection. Their contact details are given below under the heading Supervisory authority.
Right of access
You have the right, free of charge and once a year, to receive information about which of your personal data we process. The extract shows which types of personal data about you we process, the purposes of the processing, whether we have shared the data with anyone else and if so with whom, the source of the data if you have not provided it to us directly, and how long we intend to retain it. Please note that a request for an extract must be made in writing and signed.
Right to rectification
If you believe that we hold incorrect or misleading personal data about you, you can ask us to rectify it or to complete it with personal data that is relevant to the processing.
Right to erasure
Under certain conditions you can request that personal data we process be erased — for example, if it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected. However, personal data that we need in order to fulfil a contract with you as a customer or supplier, or to comply with legal requirements, cannot be erased.
Right to restriction of processing
In certain situations you can request that the use of your personal data be restricted — for example, if the data is incorrect and you have requested rectification.
